Mentaur is committed to the Personal Development of its Staff Team.

The training Program includes Mandatory Training:

• Basic First Aid - Appointed Person
• Fire Safety
• Health & Safety
• Food Safety
• Manual Handling

We also provide other training from BILD (British Institute for Learning Disabilities), aimed specifically to Learning Disabilities, sessions will include anything from Autism/Challenging Behaviour, Relationships & Sexuality.

We try to make it interesting by specific sessions on Syndromes, i.e.: Prader Willi Syndrome, Down Syndrome, PKU.

Person Centred Planning training is provided in order that staff can understand the specific needs of our Service Users - it is aimed so that staff understand and help the Service Users to participate in their day to day life plan.
