Mentaur Day Opportunities Resource Centre
Located adjacent to the community facilities of Kingsthorpe and a short distance from Northampton Town Centre, the MDORC serves as a hub of diverse activity and a base for utilising local community resources.
Activities at MDORC are geared to promoting independent skills and choice and to providing a platform for the development of new skills, hobbies and recreational interests. The centre also facilitates supported work experience and work placements, co-ordinates college placements and provides training in areas like horticulture, computer studies, art and crafts and communication, social and domestic skills.
